The IFS In-Home Counseling Program assists families that are involved with local Children and Youth county agencies. IFS therapists are non-judgmental in their approach, and IFS intervention includes individual, couple, and family counseling at home, the school, and county agency offices.
IFS IN-HOME COUNSELING OBJECTIVES
To provide advocacy to the family with County Children and Youth Agency involvement.
To provide parent education and support in caring for their children's needs.
To help family members with daily coping skills with the unique challenges each member's faces.
To provide therapeutic assistance to all family members through individual, couple, and family counseling.
To assist the family in creating independence from county agencies and thereby develop their own arena of strength via family, personal, and other community supports.
